Excursion Versuchsfeld „Ewiger Roggenanbau“ der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg

Sa, 8.6.24 10:00
Julius-Kühn-Straße 24 Versuchsfeld „Ewiger Roggenanbau“ der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg 06112 Halle (Saale)

The "Ewiger Roggenanbau" cultural monument on the edge of the Thaerviertel district in the east of Halle is a permanent testing ground of enormous scientific-historical, cultural and scientific importance. For around 140 years, generations of scientists in Halle have been investigating how soil conditions affect plants. Winter rye has been planted on an area of around 6000 m2 since 1878. Over the years, this has resulted in an almost unique treasure trove of data.

The excursion will take place on 08.06.2024 between 10:00 - 11:30. Registration at info@werkleitz.de is required for participation. The number of participants is limited!
